Terms & Conditions
- Bookings are restricted to one night – maximum 2 people per double room, 1 person per single room.
- Group bookings can not exceed three rooms– to book two or three rooms please call Breaking Ground directly on 01 883 2112.
- A returnable deposit of €35 per room is required to secure booking. The room is not booked until receipt of the deposit.
- Deposit will be returnable on check out.
- Staying at Hotel Ballymun is free, however there is a suggested donation
- Individual donation €50
Senior/unwaged €30 - Donations will contribute to the running costs of the hotel and can be paid to the reception desk at check-in. Donations may be made online at time of booking or on arrival at Hotel Ballymun.
- However, please note that to secure your booking €35 deposit per room must be received within three working days of reservation.

- In exceptional circumstances, a booking may be made over the phone with Breaking Ground. In this case, the deposit must be posted or delivered to the Breaking Ground office, Axis, Main St, Ballymun on the day of booking. Cheques to be made out to ‘Seamus Nolan’. Deposit must be received within three working days of reservation to secure booking.
- Check in time is 6pm. Guests may arrive earlier, but should be aware that the public will have viewing access to the rooms from 2pm to 5pm. Room keys to guests will be handed over at 6.00 p.m.
- Guests are requested to return to Hotel Ballymun by midnight.
- For security reasons, guests may be refused permission to re-enter the building after this time.
- Guests should note that a range of events and entertainment will be taking place every evening in the hotel, ranging from film screenings to exhibitions to performances. These events will take place from approximately 8 to 11pm.
- Check out time is 11.00 a.m. All keys must be handed back to reception by this time.
- No alcohol allowed on the premises
- Management reserves the right to refuse admission.
- Breaking Ground/BRL is not responsible for the actions or behaviour of guests. Guests are expected to behave responsibly, and to respect the privacy and rights of other guests and of the staff.
- Guests behaving in an inappropriate manner may be removed by security. While every due care has been taken to ensure guests' health and safety, Breaking Ground cannot be held responsible for guests’ personal safety out of a result of individual action.
- Wilful damage of property must be paid for.
- Hotel Ballymun cannot assume responsibility for the loss or damage to luggage or personal property.
- Over 18's only.
Security
- Guests should register at reception when checking in, which is located on the top floor of Clarke Tower. You will be given a swipe key to use in the lift, which will take you to the top floor. This key should be returned to reception upon departure.
- There is on site car parking, although guests should note that vehicles and any valuables within are left at the owners' risk.
- There is lift access directly to the top floor. In the event of an emergency the stairs should be used, which will be clearly indicated.
- Fire alarms and exit routes are well signposted. You are advised to observe the exit routes available in the hotel upon check in.
- The hotel will have 24 hour security personnel on duty.
